October in Michigan is a lot. Soccer Saturdays, apple orchards, a wedding (or two), dinner plans you made back in August, and at least one morning where it's 38 degrees at drop-off and 68 by lunch.
So we did the thinking for you. Here's what we'd wear for the five things most likely on your calendar this month, built from pieces that just landed in the shop. Every outfit uses at least one piece you can wear again next week.
1. Saturday sidelines

Start with the Hattie Brown Mock Neck ($58.98). It's a silky rib in a warm heathered taupe that goes with pretty much everything you already own. Add the Briar Jean ($74.98), a slight barrel leg in brown denim, plus a belt, sneakers and a puffer vest for that 8am game.
Fit note: The Hattie is fitted and meant to hug. If you'd rather a top skim than cling, grab the Tova Pullover instead. It has an oversized neckline and a cropped length, so it sits nicely over high-rise jeans. And yes, the Hattie's mock neck means you can wear a normal bra.
2. Dinner with the girls

Same Hattie, totally different night. Tuck it into the Roux Leather Mini Skirt ($74.98) and add tall boots and gold hoops. The Roux is a dark chocolate faux leather, a little softer than black, and the taupe and chocolate together are SO good.
Not a mini person? Same idea, different shape: the Yuna Top ($89.98) with dark denim and boots. It has a faux leather front with corset-style paneling and a knit back, so it looks like you tried without feeling stiff.
Fit note: The Roux is 15 1/4" long. On our 5'5" model it's a true mini, so if you're taller, keep that in mind (and keep the top half simple).
3. The October wedding

If you have a wedding on the calendar and nothing to wear, start with the Midnight Tansy Midi Dress ($148.98). It's a navy midi with a small floral, billowy sleeves and a side slit that lets you actually dance. Add metallic heels, gold earrings and a small clutch.
Fit note: It skims instead of clinging and isn't fitted at the waist, so it's forgiving through the middle. True to size. It's unlined but not see-through, so no slip needed.
Why it's worth it: This is not a one-wedding dress. Wear it to the wedding, then Thanksgiving dinner, then a December holiday party with tall boots and a faux fur vest. That's three wears before the year is out.
4. The first really cold day

It's coming. When it does, reach for the Warm Wishes Sweater ($88.98), a soft, fuzzy mohair-blend turtleneck in a cool Silverlake shade. Wear it with the Holly Straight Jean ($119.98) in black and boots for coffee with friends.
Prefer a classic? The Lori Sweater ($138.98) is a heathered grey cable knit that makes plain jeans look dressed up. Add a scarf and you're ready for brunch after church.
5. The cozy day (pickup line, road trip, Sunday errands)

Comfy, but you won't look like you just rolled out of bed. The First Quarter Hoodie ($88.98) and Uptown Jogger ($84.98) match in a warm cocoa fleece. Wear them together for a travel day, or split them up: the jogger with a fitted tee and a leather jacket, the hoodie over leggings for pickup.
Fit note: The jogger is high rise with a drawcord, and the inseam is 28 1/4". Check your usual length before you order.
The short version
If you only add one thing this month, make it the Hattie. It shows up in two of these outfits and it'll be in your rotation all winter. If you have an event coming up, it's the Midnight Tansy.
